Fiscalization

Laurel Ltd has been an active participant of the Hungarian retail market since 1994 by transporting trade and POS systems. Throughout the past 15 years the service branch has frequently been shaped, extended. Thus, following the installation of  its own POS system by more thousand examples this field provides the authorisation of international systems and the representation in Hungary.

Due to constant legal changes and changing trade tendencies in the past years POS system-development and fiscalization have become a separate field of business. Its main milestones are as follows:

From 1997 up to 2000 naturalization, authorization of EPOS cash register system, with a full rollout (hardware transportation, installation) into 120 shops for Spar Hungary.


In 2001 Laurel became the sole Hungarian representative of the Austrian POS Systemhaus GmbH. As a pioneer in Hungary  it has carried out a system for the IBM 4610, thermal paper printer equipped with electronic journal for the development of dStore POS system, and this with its own programmers.

In 2003 system installation on IBM 4694 POSs with 4610 printers for 40 shops of Salamander Hungary Ltd.

2003-2004:completing a fiscal module for Spar Magyarország dStore POS system, naturalization, authorization, and a joint rollout with the service of Spar Hungary.

2003-2004: Supershop integration into dStore POS system, installation in Skála warehouses and Kaiser's malls.

From 2004 on installations have been started in grocery- and fashion-merchant shop chains (e.g.. Coop, Skala Fashion Warehouse, CBA, Élésker), By the end of 2007 this constantly rising number reached 500 installations.

In 2004 dStore POS system recieved the authorization from APEH (Tax and Financial Control office) for the IBM SurePos 700 POS-family with a nr.4610 fiscal printer.


In 2006 we signed a strategic alliance with the Icelandic Landsteinaer Strengur company, which transports one of the major component of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system. Herewith, Laurel's product range gained a POS system that can be in a direct connection not only with the Back Office, but the Head Office service too, polling data concerning information among others about stock or client. This is unique in Hungary.

In 2006 collaborating with the French ACS Solutions Services the company among the very first ones gets APEH authorisation  for a parking-system, which includes both a Pc-based POS office and a parking meter.


In 2006 receiving APEH authorization for the Austrian Hermes POS system, which was the system Interspar Hungary shops were based on. This is, following trends, a touch screen solution on the IBM SurePos 500 cash registers.

In 2007 signing a strategic alliance with the Austrian Hermes software. Within the collaboration the Hervis-version of Hermes cash register programme is authorized.

With this license Laurel, first, gets authorization  for the new IBM microcode. This is the newest, January 2006, cash register solution worked out for the shops of Lapker zRt  (380 cash registers) and  Bauhaus special malls for the IBMSurepos 500 cash registers. In 2007 the touch screen dStore solution is authorized by APEH for the IBM surePos 500 cash register-family, which was installed for Baumax Hungary.
